about - boundarykennels

Nick has been a dog trainer for many years working primarily in Suffolk and Essex, as well as teaching and competing in Working Trials (Civilian Police Dog work). Training and dog care have been a major part of his life and he and Henrietta have spent the past decade developing Boundary Kennels & Training into what it is now.

Henrietta previously trained as an Osteopath & Naturopath and finds that she still applies skills from this to her current work, be it assessing a dog’s gait or caring for dogs with greater medical needs often seen replicated in both humans and their canine companions. She has also put her now elderly dog through his paces at the lower levels of Working Trial Competitions.

The Boundary Kennel Logo is in fact a picture of Nick and Henrietta’s dogs and when not working in kennels they may be found walking them in the Suffolk and Essex countryside and along the coastline making the most of the three estuaries on our doorstep.

Whilst on holiday they are to be found tackling some of the World's Great Treks such as Killimanjaro, The Inca Trail and trekking across Iceland. Their love of the outside, enjoyment of maintaining fitness levels and love of dogs making them ideally suited for all the demands that running a kennels undertakes; especially as everything is done just by them maintaining a calm settled environment and one in which they know every dog and his or her needs individually and every dog knows them.
